March 21, 2013 – Sisk Fulfillment Service announced today that its Federalsburg, MD Warehouse & Fulfillment facility is now a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) facility registered by NSF International. Among its many fulfillment service offerings, Sisk offers warehousing and fulfillment services for Dietary Supplement marketers and manufacturers.
Earning GMP registration from NSF International verifies that Sisk Fulfillment’s facility has the proper methods, equipment, facilities, and controls in place for warehousing and distributing dietary supplement products. The NSF GMPs were developed in accordance with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) 21 CFR part 111 regulations on dietary supplement manufacturing, packaging, and distribution. Utilizing GMP guidelines assists companies in developing and maintaining proper controls in their manufacturing process so that products are processed, manufactured, labeled, stored & distributed in a consistent manner, and meet quality standards.
